Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NovaVault Exchange platform operated by NovaVault Exchange Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Canada to use our platform. You represent that you are not a resident of any jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading is prohibited. You must complete our KYC verification process before trading.

Account Registration: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use: You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Canadian laws and regulations. Prohibited activities include market manipulation, money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and any activity that violates FINTRAC regulations or securities laws.

Fees and Transactions: All fees are displayed transparently before transaction confirmation. Trading fees are 0.1% per trade. Network fees vary by cryptocurrency and network conditions. We reserve the right to adjust fees with 30 days notice. All transactions are final once confirmed on the blockchain.

Intellectual Property: The platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by NovaVault Exchange Inc. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Limitation of Liability: NovaVault is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to trading losses, data breaches beyond our control, or service interruptions. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Risk Disclosure

Important Risk Notice: Trading cryptocurrencies involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You should carefully consider your financial situation, risk tolerance, and investment objectives before trading on the NovaVault platform.

Price Volatility: Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and prices can fluctuate significantly within short periods. You may lose some or all of your invested capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose.

NovaVault complies with all applicable regulations but cannot predict future regulatory changes.

Security Risk: While we implement industry-leading security measures including multi-signature wallets, cold storage, and insurance coverage, no system is completely immune to security breaches. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices and account credentials.

No Guarantees: NovaVault does not guarantee any specific returns, profits, or investment outcomes. Any examples of trading performance shown on our platform or marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent typical results. Individual results will vary.

Complex Products: Certain trading features, including margin trading and futures contracts, involve additional risks including the potential for losses exceeding your initial deposit. These products are only available to eligible users who have acknowledged the additional risks.

Tax Obligations: Cryptocurrency transactions may be subject to taxation in Canada. You are solely responsible for understanding and fulfilling your tax obligations. NovaVault does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional for guidance.
